Node.js Software Engineer

As a Node.js Software Engineer at MSCI Inc., I played a vital role in backend development, testing, and integration of new features for a leading global provider of financial data and analytics. My responsibilities included:

  • Backend Development: Developing robust backend solutions using Node.js, implementing RESTful APIs and optimizing platform functionality and performance.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Utilizing Jest for comprehensive testing and SonarQube to maintain high standards of code quality.
  • DevOps and Infrastructure Management: Setting up CI/CD pipelines with Microsoft Azure, and using Terraform for efficient infrastructure management.

Cencosud/WITI

Front End Developer, 2020 — 2021

At Cencosud/WITI, I automated the dispatch guide for online sales of the multinational retail Paris, developing the frontend with React.js and Redux, and setting up CI/CD pipelines with Docker.

Haip SPA

Tech Lead, 2018 — 2020

At Haip SPA, I led the development of the technology platform from scratch, managing teams and developing both frontend and backend systems with React.js, Node.js, Python and Golang

Sáltala SPA

Full Stack Developer, 2016 — 2018

At Sáltala SPA, as the sole developer initially, I was responsible for developing mobile applications using Ionic and Angular.js, and later frontends with React.js and backends with Express.js.

PMS Consulting

Full Stack Developer, 2021

At PMS Consulting, I designed and developed an administrative system for hotel management, integrating various payment systems including Transbank via SOAP APIs, and led both frontend and backend development using React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
